IQAC as a post accreditation measure is an enabler for realization of the goals of institution for continuous quality sustenance, improvement and enhancement.
To encourage appropriate measures for quality sustenance, enhancement and quality culture in the institution by implementation of best practices
To develop a robust system with planning, implementing, measuring and taking action on the outcome of academic and administrative performance of the institution.
To keep the institution aware of quality sustenance activities on a wide range of pertinent issues.

Academic Audit:
An academic audit and its process plays a major role for assuring the overall quality assurance practices by continuous monitoring and improvement of quality, so that the program education objectives meet the strategic vision and mission of the institution. Hence, academic audit assures quality education to meet program outcomes thereby producing quality graduates with stakeholder satisfaction.
The IQAC of the institution has prepared various guidelines on academic quality management framework to gather evidence-based information on the quality of its programmes and graduates and to encourage a culture of continuous self-improvement through self-reflection of processes and best practices through academic audits.
Audit process is mainly carried out at three levels in the institution. Firstly, at individual level, audit for lectures and practicals is conducted by head of the department by visits in the laboratory. Secondly at departmental level, audit for academic and non academic activities twice in a semester by head of the department in departmental meetings and by review of KPA KRA as per laid guidelines. Thirdly audit at institution level is performed by IQAC for monitoring all activities of the institution with the objective of increasing and assuring quality of both processes and outcomes by recommending specific changes, policies and strategies. Moreover, external audit is also performed to appraise the good practices, highlight strengths, achievements and progress, guidance to overcome weakness and suggest improvements in various aspects for overall growth and quality assurance of the institution. Hence, systematic academic audit results in an audit report that builds up the link between existing practices, recommendations by IQAC and improvements.
