Afresh, a moment to be proud for, Mr. Devang Tandel, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical chemistry, received 1st Prize for the poster presentation award titled “HPTLC densitometric quantification of Brimonidine tartrate and Brinzolamide in ophthalmic formulation using fractional factorial design” at one day national level seminar and workshop on “3D printing technology in pharmaceutical drug delivery” organized by Bhagvan Mahavir Education foundation, Surat on 10th August, 2019.
 
 
Best poster presentation award in International conference on July 22, 2019_DDU, Nadiad
Mr. Hardik Rana, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, received 1st prize for poster presentation entitled on “Demonstration of Advanced Data Mining Technique for the Development of Galantamine Hydrobromide pellets employing modified Extrusion-Pelletization technique” in APP 4th Indo Caribbean conference (CTDDMCPS – 2019) held at Faculty of Pharmacy, Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad, Gujarat, India on July 22, 2019 organized by APP West Indies International branch and Gujarat state branch in collaboration with APP drug design Med-Chem division.

Gandhi, at DST-GUJCOST sponsored one day National Seminar on “Prospecting Herbaceuticals through Indigenous Plants for Betterment of the Health” organized by Indubhai Patel College of Pharmacy and research centre, Dharmaj on 12th August 2019.
 
 
PRIDE FOR APC: Anand Pharmacy College (APC), Anand has bagged R. V. Patel “Best Thesis Award” and “Best Research Guide Award” 2017 -2018 in national level competition.
It is a moment of pride for APC to announce that Anand Pharmacy College, Anand, has been selected for the R. V. Patel “Best Thesis Award” and “Best Research Guide Award” 2016-2017 for Pharmacology department. The best thesis award 2017-18 (Cash prize Rs. 51,000) will be received by Ms. Prexita Patel, M. Pharm Pharmacology student at Anand Pharmacy College, and best research guide award 2017-18 (Cash prize Rs. 25,000) will be received by Dr. Tejal R. Gandhi, Principal and Professor, Anand Pharmacy College, Anand.
 
 
The sole self-finance institute, Anand Pharmacy College under the Student Startup & Innovation Policy, Gujarat government, receives grant of 60 lakhs.
Anand Pharmacy College, the college which strives towards the accomplishment of global excellence in field of education and research, has achieved an another milestone its success journey. With proud to announce that, Anand Pharmacy College, is the sole self- financed pharmacy institute across the Gujarat to receive the Student Start-up & Innovation Policy (SSIP) grant.  On 26 th  September, 2017, Dr. Tejal R. Gandhi, Principal, was felicitated with the first disbursement of INR 10,00,000 out of 60,00,000, SSIP grant by Hon. CM Shri Vijay Rupani at the grant disbursement ceremony under SSIP and inauguration of Smart Gujarat For New India Hackathon – 2017. Under the able leadership Prof. Mukesh C. Gohel, PG Director and Dr. Tejal R. Gandhi, Principal, all the team members, Dr. Purvi Shah, SSIP coordinator and senior professor Dr. Vaishali Thakkar and Dr. Kalpana Patel, worked dedicatedly and made this grant procurement feasible and once again culminated this SSIP into another success story.
 
 
Young Scientist Award-2017 for innovative research presentation, Sagar, M.P.
It is a moment of pride for Ms. Swati S. Sharma, student of M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics Department, Batch-2016), secured first prize in best oral presentation for innovative research project entitled “Examination of intricacies in the development of osmotic tablet using asymmetric semipermeable membrane shells as a substitute of coating process”, at Shri Premchand Jain Memorial Young Scientist Award-2017, organized by the ADINA Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sagar, M.P., India, on March 04, 2017. The award was given under Medical and Pharmaceutical Science discipline. The participants were total 28 from different institutes and National laboratories, like DRDO. She was conferred with a trophy of the award and a cash price of Rs. 11,000/-.
 
 
Best oral presenter award at National Conference, Visnagar
It is a moment of pride for Ms. Kesha Patel, student of M. Pharm (QA), secured first prize in oral presentation for the research project entitled “Development and evaluation of Brinzolamide nanoparticles incorporated In situ gel” (GUJCOST funded Minor Research Project) co-authored by Dr. Purvi Shah, Dr. Kalpana Patel, Dr. Vaishali T. Thakkar, Dr. Tejal R. Gandhi, at SERB sponsored and APT supported two days National Conference on “Targeted Drug Delivery to tumors: Myths, Reality and Possibilities at Nootan Pharmacy College, Visnagar on 9th-10th March, 2017.
 
 
Best research poster presentation award at National Seminar, Rajkot
Afresh, a moment to be proud for, Mr. Lalji Baldaniya, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, received 1st prize for best research poster presentation award for the poster entitled “Fabrication of a novel miniature implantable mechanical infusion pump for use in laboratory animals” (GUJCOST funded Minor Research Project) co-authored by Dr. Mukesh C. Gohel, Dr. Vaishali T. Thakkar, Dr. Tejal R. Gandhi, at SERB sponsored two days National Seminar on “Bioavailability Enhancement: An Industry Desire and Regulatory Constrains” organized by Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Saurashtra University, Rajkot – 360005, Gujarat, India, on July 30-31, 2016.
 
 
Prestigious Award by IPA (Indian Pharmaceutical Association) ACG – SciTech Innovation in Solid Dosage Form
Research Project of M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics Department), Anand Pharmacy College has been selected for IPA-ACG SciTech Innovation Award in Solid dosage form development, for special recognition award in the year 2016. Award category: Best Innovative Development of a Solid Dosage Form of the year. The IPA-ACG SciTech Award consists of Memento and cash prize of Rs. 50,000/-. Title of the innovation: Novel use of emulsion form of binder for improving the quality and performance characteristic of finished dosage form. Research Team Members: Dr. Mukesh C. SRISTI-BIRAC GYTI appreciation Awards
It is a moment of pride for Anand Pharmacy College, Anand, for receiving SRISTI-BIRAC GYTI appreciation awards to two student’s innovative projects on May, 2016. The grants of two lacs was given to past GYTI Awardees of Anand Pharmacy College namely Dr. Vaishali Thakkar, Dr. Nirav Patel, Dr. Tejal Gandhi and Dr. Mukesh Gohel for their innovative projects entitled Development and evaluation of women friendly vaginal in situ hydrogel for sperm immobilization and Designing of newer hydrogel based surgical dressing for the treatment of acid burn women survivor. These supports is provided by SRISTI’s Techpedia and Grassroots database of SRISTI as a part of initiative to support to reveal the science and develop the products/prototype of 15 GYTI Awardees of SRISTI’s Techpedia and 100 innovations of students and grassroots.
 
 
Best Research Paper award 2015 in pharmaceutics category from IDMA, Mumbai
Mr. Devang Tandel, Dr. Purvi Shah, Dr. Kalpana Patel, Dr. Mukesh Gohel, Dr. Vaishali Thakkar and Dr. Tejal Gandhi received best research paper award in Pharmaceutics discipline for the paper entitled “Improvement of dissolution rate of febuxostat using hybrid technique of spherical crystallization and solid dispersion” published in the Indian Drugs Volume 52, Issue No. 09, September 2015 during 54th annual day celebration organized by Indian drug manufacturer association, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, on 23rd January, 2016.
 
 
Best poster presentation award at ICRE 2016, Rajkot
Afresh, a moment to be proud for, Mr. Devang Tandel, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Quality Assurance, received Best poster presentation award for the paper entitled “Development and validation of bioanalytical method for quantification of diclofenac sodium and chlorzoxazone in human plasma by RP-HPLC method” at two days international conference on “Research and Entrepreneurship” organized by RK University, Rajkot, on 5th – 6th January, 2016
 
 
Major Research Project Grant from SYST, DST
Afresh, a moment to be proud for, Dr. Vaishali Thakkar (Principal Investigator), Professor, Pharmaceutics dept. and Dr. Purvi Shah (Co-Investigator), Professor, QA dept. fetched Scheme for Young Scientists and Technologists (SYST) grant of 20,34,992 INR from Science for Equity, Empowerment & Development Division (SEED), Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi for their research project entitled “Development and evaluation of dry powder inhaler for chronic tuberculosis”.
 
 
Best oral presenter award at ICPS 2015, Dubai, UAE
More than 30 countries participated with 34 oral and 16 poster presentations at the International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences (ICPS) 2015. Amongst them, Mr Mihir Parikh, Assistant Professor, Pharmacology department, received best oral presenter award.   ICPS 2015 was organized by ScienceOne on Jan 21-22, 2015 at Deira Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dr. Majid Moridani, Director and Professor from Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin, served as Chairman while Dr. Anwar-ul- Hassan Gilani, Professor and Tandem Dean from College of Health Sciences, Mekelle University, Ethiopia and Dr. Mohammad Abdollahi, Professor and Dean from Department of Toxicology and Pharmacology Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran served as Co-Chairman for ICPS 2015.
 
 
Prof. M. C. Gohel receives the Prof. M. L. Khorana Memorial Prize
Prof. M. C. Gohel, PG director of Anand Pharmacy College receives the Indian Pharmaceutical Association’s Prof. M. L. Khorana Memorial Prize for Best paper in Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the field of Pharmaceutics & Bio-Pharmaceutics for the paper entitled “Exploration of Novel Co-processed Multifunctional Diluents for the development of Tablet Dosage Form” on 7th August, 2014 at Bangalore.
 
 
Pride for GTU: First runner-up in 3M- CII Student Innovation Challenge 2014
Dr. Vaishali T. Thakkar, Mr. Soyeb Chakavala, Dr. Nirav Patel under the supervision of Dr. Tejal R. Gandhi is recognised as “First runner-up” for the innovative project entitled “Development of Novel Cross-Linked Antibacterial Hydrogel of Silver Sulfadiazine” in National level 3M-CII Student Innovation Challenge 2014 with cash prize 75,000 at Bangalore on 8th August, 2014. It is a moment of great pride for Anand Pharmacy College to be amongst “First runner-up” across India as Technology and Innovation recognised by in 3M- Confederation of Indian Industry. Anand Pharmacy College was the sole institute of Gujarat and of Pharmacy in India amongst ten corporate finalists.

It is a moment of pride for Anand Pharmacy College, Anand, for felicitation with the R. V. Patel “Best Thesis Award” and “Best Research Guide Award” 2013-2014 for Quality Assurance department on 24th May, 2014. These awards were given by Dr.T. Ramasami, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was the Chief Guest of the function. In this competition 113 colleges among India had participated and Anand Pharmacy College, Anand received 1st rank in Quality Assurance. The best thesis award 2013-14 (Cash prize Rs. 51,000) was given to Mr. Tandel Devang, M. Pharm Quality Assurance student at Anand Pharmacy College, and Dr. Purvi A. Shah, Professor, Anand Pharmacy College, Anand as best research guide award 2013-14 (Cash prize Rs. 25,000).
 
 
Pride for GTU: Anand Pharmacy College bags Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award 2014
It is a moment of great pride for Anand Pharmacy College (APC), Anand, to be amongst 13 awardees of the Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award 2014 by Society for Research and Initiatives for Sustainable Technology and Institutions (SRISTI) across India. Anand Pharmacy college was the sole institute of Gujarat amongst the list of awardees, which included 1,400 nominations from 23 Indian states, of which 13 awards were given in the main categories while 27 others got an appreciation from 313 Technology and Scientific Institutions. The research team of innovative project included Ms. Parita Moradiya, Dr. Vaishali T. Thakkar, Dr. Nirav V. Patel and Dr. Tejal R. Gandhi.
