This camp co-coordinated with Lions club and Lioness club, Anand. Thalassemia is a condition in which there is reduction in the amount of hemoglobin prevents enough oxygen from reaching the body’s tissues. This test is necessary to be done before its symptoms. We NSS Unit of APC have made possible outcomes from the Thalassemia camp for the students with the support and help of Lions club, Anand and Lioness club, Anand and Red Cross Society.

 About 160 students came for the test and with the co-ordination and hard work of the 20+ NSS volunteers; we were able to make the camp possible.

Aims And Objectives:-

1)         To Aware the students about the Thalassemia and for early diagnosis.

2)         Encourage the general public, especially the youth, to donate blood regularly.

3)         Stress on the importance of a healthy diet and regular exercise for thalassemia patients.
