Theme: Promoting Rational Use of Medicines Through Pharmacovigilance: A Step Towards Safer Healthcare
Anand Pharmacy College ADR Monitoring Centre (APC-AMC), in association with Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission – National Coordination Centre, Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (IPC NCC-PvPI), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and IPA Anand Local Branch, successfully organized a Debate Competition as part of the 6th National Pharmacovigilance Week 2026.
The event provided students with a platform to express their perspectives, strengthen their communication and critical-thinking skills, and engage in meaningful discussions on pharmacovigilance, rational use of medicines, adverse drug reactions, and patient safety.
Through thought-provoking topics, confident arguments, and active participation, the participants highlighted the importance of responsible medicine use and the role of pharmacovigilance in promoting safer and more effective healthcare.
