Research is key to innovation fulfilling the industrial gap. Successful research requires a focus on creativity, integrating innovation and strategic planning. Embarking on this notion, Anand Pharmacy College, Anand had constituted the Scientific Research committee (SRC). The responsibility of this committee is to stimulate research interest, review progress of sanction and applied grant, contribute to the development of research policy, and communicate to stakeholders the availability of research opportunities.

Functions

  • Create and enhance conducive environment for promotion of research and innovation activities at UG, PG and Ph.D level
  • Encourage faculty to apply for Major research projects, Minor Research Projects, Incubation and innovation Centres
  • Promote national and international collaborative research activities
  • Support and facilitate SSIP supported POC and other research grants and govern the disbursement and award of externally and internally generated research funds, its accountability and mechanism for the utilization of research funds
  • Ensure smooth functioning of innovation clubs, GIC and IIC, MoE, and innovation zone
  • Review and develop strategies and best practices to improve the quality of research in the benefit of society
  • Review and develop strategies to improve the quantity of research in terms of publications, books, research presentations, patents etc.
