Internal Quality Assurance Cell
IQAC as a post accreditation measure is an enabler for realization of the goals of institution for continuous quality sustenance, improvement, enhancement and excellence.
Objectives:
- To encourage appropriate measures for quality sustenance, enhancement and quality culture in the institution by implementation of best practices.
- To develop a robust system to ensure that planning, implementing, measuring and taking action on the outcome of academic and administrative performance of the institution.
- To keep the institution aware and strengthen quality sustenance activities on a wide range of pertinent issues related to academics and administration.
- To generate new ideas and principles for putting into practice for sensible, consistent and catalytic improvement.
Function:
To recommend, promote, initiate and sustain quality measures by following functions
- Development and application of quality benchmarks
- Set up quality parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution
- Dissemination of information on quality aspects to all stakeholders.
- Facilitating the creation of learner centric environment and faculty to adopt the knowledge and technology for participatory and experiential teaching learning process.
- Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles
- Coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices
- Documentation of the various programmes and activities leading to quality improvement
- Continuous improvement of the institution by obtaining feedback and its analysis from all stakeholders; students, parents, employers, teachers, alumni
- Conducting academic and administrative audit periodically with follow up activities
- Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality
- Dissemination of information on the various quality parameters of higher education
- Preparation and Submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC
