ABOUT ANAND PHARMACY COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (APAA)

With the virtue of bringing together the past & present, Anand Pharmacy College Alumni Association (hereafter referred to as “APAA”) was established in year 2002. APAA is registered as Public trust (Public Trust Registration No.: F/2008/ANAND) & Society (Society Registration No.: GUJ/2052/ANAND) in year 2021.

Organization of APAA:

General Body of the Association: There shall be a General Body of APAA consisting of all life members & Associate members. This will be the highest decision making body to look after the fulfillment of the Aims and Objectives of the Association.

Executive Committee: There shall be an Executive Committee (EC) to manage the day to day / regular activities of APAA under the broad guidance of the General Body.

Functions:

  1. To bring the College alumni under one forum for exchange of experience, dissemination of knowledge and talents amongst its members and also for the furtherance of fellowship, advancement of knowledge in general of the members of APAA.
  2. To encourage members to take active interest in the activities / progress of their alma mater.
  3. To bring out magazines, souvenirs and newsletters highlighting the activities of the College and its alumni.
  4. To create and establish alumni endowments for granting scholarships, prizes and medals to the students showing high proficiency in their studies and honor former student of the College.
  5. To organize cultural and educational programmes and also to conduct Alumni Day celebrations.
  6. To collect funds by subscription, contribution, donations, and gifts from members, non-members, government and other institutions and philanthropists for furtherance of the various objectives
  7. To provide assistance and facilities for the all-round development of the College & Society.
  8. To promote and encourage friendly relation among all members of APAA.
  9. To keep alumni informed about their alma mater.
  10. To promote and support technological planning, research & development of the College.
  11. To conduct seminars, conferences, workshops, lectures, events and other academic and non-academic activities including sports activities and also to keep in touch with other college faculty, non-teaching staff and students.
  12. To promote career guidance, interaction with industry and quality education.
  13. To serve the common cause of the members of APAA in general.
  14. To carry out such other activities and/or to extend cooperation for the fulfillment of the aims and objectives of the College.
  15. To facilitate the basic services for humanity & developing infrastructure for the upliftment of the society.
