APC has realised this need and has launched several specialized tutoring program for students and faculties who need to learn at a higher level than what a typical syllabus or working environment offers.  The course are selected based on the needs and necessities of current times.

Courses offered by APC are as follow:

3D printing

3D printing in education has a wide variety of important uses in Pharmacy. 3D printing also provides many opportunities to aid visual and practical learning across the sciences. The primary level course comprises an understanding of 3D Printing Technology, its applications, materials used in the 3D printing domain. It covers understanding of different technologies in the 3D Printing Technology domain as well as hands-on designing software, manufacturing software, and FDM 3D Printer machine andits slicing software. Institute has also collaborated with US Institute of 3D Technology (USA)to run the course. 

HPLC and HPTLC-Hands on training

Analytical techniques such as chromatography are dominant research tools in the pharma sector. The short term training program is designed as a step by step guide to operating a HPLC and HPTLC Instruments. It covers not only the theoretical principles of them but it details all the practical steps involved in preparing samples and analysing them on both instruments in the lab. The training program covers all the steps from lab safety, to the science behind HPLC and HPTLC, practical video demonstrations of instruments and software operation and calculation and reporting of results of the analysis.

Pharmacovigilance

Pharmacovigilance also known as drug safety describes the collection, analysis, monitoring, and prevention of adverse effects in drugs and therapies. Pharmacovigilance is concerned with two outcomes- safety and efficacy. It touches on almost every aspect of the drug lifecycle from preclinical development to post market surveillance-making it one of the most fundamental functions within life science companies.  

As Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Research are becoming an important part of drug development as it deals with the patient’s safety, keeping this in mind APC has introduced certificate course in Pharmacovigilance in online mode. Course offered provides in-depth knowledge and understanding of the FDA, EU-EMA, and ICH regulations for drug safety and pharmacovigilance and ADR reporting.

Quality by Design (QbD)

Substantial business benefits are emerging from industry when Quality by Design (QbD) principles are used for new and existing drug products yielding reduced operating costs, enabling significantly more efficient manufacturing processes and better positioning companies to meet increasing regulatory expectations. FDA also appears to be accelerating the QbD push, suggesting that ANDAs for generic drugs and NDA should have QbD elements. DoE is extensively used for the implementation of QbD in both research and industrial settings. Anand Pharmacy College has been providing hands on training and case based DoE analysis to leading Pharma companies and academic institutes since five years.

Skill Enhancement Sessions

Finishing School cell and Training and placement cell, APC provides a wide range of educational resources and tools for the students of final year B. Pharm, M. FEHP course has been implement by APC targeting the soft skills of the students of first and second year. As students from various educational medium background take admission, they find the language transition quite challenging.  FEHP course help them to navigate these challenges by helping them to sharpen their soft skills incorporating wide variety of personality traits, communication and people skills, social attitudes and emotional intelligence, as well as language skill. These core skills will help students to gain confidence and realise their full potential.
