About Research

Research is key to innovation fulfilling the industrial gap. Successful research requires a focus on creativity, integrating innovation and strategic planning. Embarking on this notion, Anand Pharmacy College, Anand had constituted the Research and Development Cell/Scientific Research Committee (RDC/SRC). The responsibility of this committee is to stimulate research interest, review progress of sanction and applied grant, contribute to the development of research policy, and communicate to stakeholders the availability of research opportunities.

Functions

  1. Create and maintain a supportive environment that promotes research and innovation at UG, PG, and Ph.D. levels.
  2. Encourage and guide faculty to apply for major/minor research projects, incubation schemes, and innovation centre support.
  3. Promote national and international collaborative research activities.
  4. Support and facilitate SSIP-supported POC projects and other research grants, including monitoring, disbursement, utilization, and accountability of funds.
  5. Ensure effective functioning of Innovation Clubs, GIC, IIC (MHRD), and the Innovation Zone.
  6. Review and implement strategies to enhance the quality of research for societal and industrial relevance.
  7. Strengthen research output through increased publications, presentations, books, patents, and technology transfer.
  8. Benchmark research performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  9. Ensure adherence to research ethics and plagiarism policies by promoting academic integrity, conducting plagiarism checks, and guiding ethical research practices and approvals.
