Eligibility:
Minimum Qualification for Admission
a) As per the powers conferred to state government, in section 20(1) of the Act No. 2 of 2008,
the Government of Gujarat, Education Department by way of a notification had constituted
Committee called “Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)” to regulate the
admission of candidates to the professional degree courses of Gujarat.
b) Admission shall be carried out as per the prevailing passing criteria of ACPC in accordance to
pharmacy admission rules 2020 and all its subsequent amendments duly fulfilling all prevailing
PCI norms for seeking admission into B. Pharm course.
c) Candidate shall have passed HSC (Science Stream A or B Group) examination notified by
Government and PCI. The details of the same is available on: www.acpc.gujarat.gov.in
d) Merit will be prepared based on merit marks of the 50% weightage of theory percentile issued
by respective board in the subject of Mathematics or Biology, Physics and Chemistry and 50%
weightage of the percentile of the GUJCET-2024 examination in corresponding subjects.
e) There shall be reservation of seats for the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes,
Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes in accordance with the instructions issued by the
Government of Gujarat as the case may be from time to time.
B. Pharm lateral entry (to 3rd semester)
A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under
section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
