Currently, he serves as a Post-Doc Research Fellow and Visiting Scientist at UNSW, Australia. Congratulations, Furqan! PATENT GRANTED

We are thrilled to share some incredible news with our APC family. Our patent application for a ‘NOVEL LIQUISOLID FORMULATION OF SAPONIN RICH EXTRACT’ (patent application No. 201921053684) has been granted by the Indian patent office. The patent grant number assigned to our innovation is IN 441249, with a validity that extends until 24th December 2039.

Heartiest congratulations to Ayush Rana, Radhika Poshiya (1st Year Pharm.D students) under mentorship of Ms. Mital Patel, Assistant Professor for being selected in top 32 teams in semifinale of SMARTIDEATHON 2023 out of several entries from India organized by GITAM University, Visakhapatnam in association with Startupindia, IIC MoE and Northeastern University, Center for Entrepreneurship Education, Boston (17th May to 25th Aug 2023).

APAA Research Achievement

Our Alma mater Anand Pharmacy College Alumni Association)  APAA  congratulates and recognizes the outstanding contributions in the field of bioengineering. Dr. Rajkumar P. Thummer ( B. Pharm Batch 1998-2002) has been making significant contribution of in the field of bioengineering. Dr. Rajkumar & his research team have developed a ‘ Recombinant Protein Toolbox’ which can convert healthy skin cells or any somatic cells from an adult human body into heart cells. He is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Biosciences & Bioengineering (BSBE), Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG)
