Objective of green club is to Ensure that, go green initiatives adopted by the institute and adherence to the ‘Go Green’ concept via tree plantation drives, awareness drives for environment preservation, including plastic ban, restricted vehicle use, pedestrian walkway in the institution and campus, Promote e-methods for communication on routine basis, Develop facilities for alternate sources of energy and energy conservation measures, Develop water conservation facilities and waste water recycling and treatment, Promote waste management and waste recycling systems for solid, liquids, biomedical, e-waste, hazardous chemicals etc., Promote the concept of Recycling and up cycling of the waste material, Promotion and implementation of concept of categorizing of waste and proper disposal of used sanitary pads, Conduct quality audits on environment and energy initiatives in the institute through green audit, energy audit, environment audit, Celebration of important days of National and International relevance related to nature and environment; World Nature Conservation Day, World Environment Day, World Water Conservation Day, World Heritage Day, World Earth Day, World Biodiversity Day and World Energy Conservation Day.
