GUJCOST Sponsored National Conference on “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intellectual Property (IP) Protection: Patents, Copyrights, and Design Rights in Digital Era”, Supported by SSIP and IIC was successfully organized on 10/09/2024. Expert sessions was delivered by Mr. Dinesh Parmar -Advocate – Patent & Trademark Attorney, Founder and Managing Partner, Parker & Parker Co. LLP, Ahmedabad, Ms. Shruti Nair -Advocate & Registered Patent Agent, Partner- Parker & Parker Co. LLP, Ahmedabad and Dr. Swayampraksh Patel -Professor, Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT), Changa, Gujarat. 126 Delegates from various institutes have joined the conference. In Post lunch session, 19 teams participated in Can I patent it? Idea presentation competition and presented novel patentable ideas of various fields. Conferece was coordinated by Dr Vaishali Thakkar, Dr Chetna Modi, Ms. Mital Patel and Ms Saloni Dalwadi.
