Health Check-up Camp @ Chikhodra Village: A Step Towards Preventive Healthcare
On November 26, 2024, the IPA Anand Local Branch and NSS Unit of Anand Pharmacy College successfully organized a Comprehensive Health Check-up Camp at Chikhodara Village, in collaboration with the Zydus Medical Team. The event, held at the BAPS Mandir, aimed to promote preventive healthcare and provide essential health services to the local community.
The health camp offered a range of vital services, including:
Blood Pressure Monitoring
Diabetes Screening
BMI Assessment
General Health Consultations
A total of 51 villagers participated, and the camp was supported by 21 students, 6 NSS volunteers, along with the guidance of the Program Officer (PO), NSS Coordinator, and 3 IPA members from Anand Pharmacy College.
The event was further strengthened by the Zydus Medical Team, led by Dr. Sunila Vyas (Medical Officer) and Mr. Prithviraj Singh (Event Coordinator). Their dedication and support played a key role in ensuring the event’s success.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the IPA Anand Local Branch and Anand Pharmacy College to enhance health literacy and provide vital healthcare services to underserved communities.
