Industry Institution Partnership Cell is established with the objective of reducing the gap between industry expectations (practice) and academic offerings (theory) by direct involvement of pharmaceutical industries. The cell is the bridge between the industry and the institute.

Objectives
- Joint research and development partnerships for optimally utilize resources available in industries and institutions for the betterment of society
- Develop methodology for creation of endowment funds and promotion of consultancy/ training course/technology transfer to provide the specific need of the industry.
- Placement of students for industry training/projects that benefiting students to a great extent.
To conduct professional training programmes outside the curricula to provide better placements.
To assist the industry in the selection of suitable candidates to fill up jobs positions through campus interviews and other selection procedures. - To arrange training programmes that fulfilling the needs of continuing education of the industrial personnel
Organizing guest lectures, Workshops, conferences, seminars and symposia with joint participation of the faculty and the industrial experts for the upliftment of pharmacy professionals - Participation of experts from industry in curriculum development to reduce the gap between the institute and industry.

- Campus interviews are organized by inviting various pharmaceutical companies for the placements of the students for jobs. It fulfils dual purposes, one for students securing their future career, and industry securing the best fresh talents available in the region.
- Organize Industrial Training and industrial visit for the students
- Training is the integral part of the study to acknowledge them for real world problems. Students are placed at various industries for 1 month and under supervision and guidance of respective industry personnel and faculty members.
- MOU with Pharmaceutical Industries: IIP Cell has brought about a number of MoU and agreements with various pharmaceutical industries to promote various forms of interactions.
