Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm)
Eligibility:
Minimum qualification for admission
a) As per the powers conferred to state government, in section 20(1) of the Act No. 2 of 2008,
the Government of Gujarat, Education Department by way of a notification had constituted
Committee called “Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)” to regulate the
admission of candidates to the professional degree courses of Gujarat.
b) The candidate shall have passed B. Pharm as per the prevailing passing criteria of ACPC in
accordance to pharmacy admission rules 2020 and all its subsequent amendments duly fulfilling
all prevailing PCI norms for seeking admission into M. Pharm courses and its specialization.
c) Every student, selected for admission to post graduate pharmacy program in any PCI approved
institution should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain
the same within one month from the date of his/her admission, failing which the admission of the
candidate shall be cancelled.
d) There shall be reservation of seats for the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes,
Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes in accordance with the instructions issued by the
Government of Gujarat as the case may be from time to time.
Note: It is mandatory to submit a migration certificate obtained from the respective university
where the candidate had passed his/her qualifying degree (B. Pharm.)
