The objective of this is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.

Mukhymantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana or MYSY Scholarship is a scholarship scheme that is offered to the economically weaker section students of Gujarat. All those students who wish to pursue higher education like diploma courses, engineering, pharmacy course, medical course, etc apply for MYSY scholarship every year. The government spends Rs. 1000 crore on this scholarship scheme every year. All those students who are interested to apply for the MYSY scholarship have to go to the official website

Eligibility:

  • The students who are pursuing a Diploma, Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy, or any other undergraduate course with at least 80% marks in the Class 10/12 examination are eligible.
  • Annual family income should not be more than Rs 600000 per annum

Post-matric scholarship for the students pursuing higher education from class 11 upto PhD in government/recognized private colleges including technical courses of ITI/ITC.

Eligibility:

  • Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities caters to the minority students studying in class 11 and above. So, the eligible candidates for this MOMA scholarship must belong to any of the minority communities. Find below the eligibility requirements for Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities.
  • Applicants must belong to a minority community as notified by the Government of India. These include Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains.
  • The candidates must be studying in class 11 or above. Thus, the students studying in class 11, 12, graduate, postgraduate, technical or vocational courses, M. Phil or PhD are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Students applying for this MOMA scholarship should have scored a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination.
  • The annual family income of the candidate’s parents/guardian should not exceed INR 2 lakh. This annual income comprises of total income from all the sources.

Institutional scholarship

Objective

These scholarships shall instill motivation and enthusiasm in the students to excel in their academic endeavor and also provide financial assistance to meritorious students.

Eligibility

  • Student who secured 1st and 2nd position in university results.
  • Consider a student having the highest SPI in that specific semester, and if the SPI of more than one student is the same, then students’ internal (mid semester) marks are to be considered.

Scholarship Disbursement: Once in a year 

Number of Recipients:

  1. B. Pharm :- Total 14 students ( for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th &7th semester)
  2. Pharm D :- Total 10 students ( for 1st,2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th year) or total 20 students (on semester basis) whichever is applicable
  3. M. Pharm :- Total 6 students(for 1st , 2nd, 3rd semester)

Objective

Main objective of the scholarship is to instill motivation and enthusiasm in the students to excel in their academic endeavor and provide financial assistance to deserving & needy students.

Eligibility

  • A four member committee comprising of 1) Principal 2) Academic Head 3) Head Clerk/ Accountant 4) I/C O.S will be appointed every year for selection of the students for “Scholarship for deserving students” and the names to be approved by the committee.
  • Student should not have a strong financial position.
  • Student should not be getting any kind of financial help/scholarship from the institute, Govt. or from Alumni.

Scholarship Disbursement: Once in a year.

Institute admission Scholarship Norms:

Student who are taking admission in M.Pharm.

Objective:

To encourage and motivate students for higher studies.

Eligibility

  • Students must have taken admission through the counseling of the Admission Counsellor.
  • Direct admission gainer without the counseling of the Admission Counsellor will not be eligible for the scholarship.

Student Taking admission in B.Pharm / Pharm D.

Objective:

To encourage and motivate students for higher studies.

Scholarship Felicitation:

During Annual Function of the Institute.

Eligibility:

  • For the 1st year only.
  • Any student from Anand High School taking admission at Anand Pharmacy College in B.Pharm / Pharm. D course will be benefited by this Scholarship.

The Anand Pharmacy College Alumni Association (APAA), a public trust established by the alumni of APC, aims to support students through financial assistance, technical guidance, and various initiatives that contribute to the growth of the college and its community. The primary objectives of APAA in providing scholarship to students are as follows:

Objective of the Alumni Scholarship Program:

  • To provide financial assistance to meritorious and deserving students of B. Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm. D, or Ph.D. programs at Anand Pharmacy College.
  • To recognize and empower students who demonstrate potential, excel in extracurricular activities, and contribute to the community, even if they do not have outstanding academic achievements.
  • To support financially disadvantaged students who lack alternative sources of financial aid.

Criterion for selecting student for the Alumni Scholarship Program:

  1. Eligible Programs: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, and Ph.D students currently enrolled at Anand Pharmacy College.
  2. Enrollment Status: Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in the current academic year of their respective program.
  3. Year Levels: Students from all year levels are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to students in advanced years of study (e.g., 2nd year and above).
  4. Academic Requirements: Applicants must have cleared all exams up to the previous semester without any backlog. Exceptions may apply under specific conditions, such as documented financial need, academic potential, or committee discretion. CPI of 8.0 or higher in the last appeared university exam is mandatory.
  5. Conduct Record: Applicants must have maintained a clean conduct record throughout their academic tenure. No disciplinary action should have been taken against the applicant.
  6. Attendance Requirement: Students must have maintained regular attendance in all theory and practical classes.
  7. Financial Aid: Students receiving scholarships from government/private agency are not eligible.
  8. Special Considerations:
    1. Preference will be given to students who:
      1. Have lost one or both parents
      2. Represented the college at University, State, or National levels in individual sports
  • Published papers in reputable journals or won awards at academic/technical events
  1. Applied for or been granted patents
  2. Participated actively in NCC, NSS, or similar extracurricular activities at the district, state, or national level
  3. Team Event Achievements: Excellence in team events will be evaluated with shared weightage among all team members and factored into eligibility criteria.

    1. APAA President or Appointed Representative
    2. Faculty Member from the Admission Committee
    3. Administrative Representative (Appointed by the Principal of Anand Pharmacy College)
    4. Additional APAA Executive Members (as deemed necessary)
